Lisa, Rick, and Luna Grayson on an outing with the stroller, the moment that inspired Toddle Buddy

From our family

Built by Lisa and Rick,
for Luna.

Around the time Luna was learning to walk, it hit me. Every time we were out with the stroller it was the same struggle. She wanted to walk! But she was wobbly and could not safely walk on her own.

The toy walker we had at home was too clunky to bring to a park or a farmers market.

There are all kinds of walkers to use for inside the home.

But really nothing for when we were outside that was easy, portable and lightweight. Luna just truly loved being outside. She always wanted to practice walking out there. So around the house we would let her do this.

But when we were away from the house we had to resort to this. Which killed our backs, wasn't actually helpful for Luna's ability to learn to walk properly, and all around was uncomfortable for all of us.

I am telling you, when she didn't want to ride in the stroller, watch out! She would get so upset. She wanted to be on her feet, walking.

Every parent of a toddler has felt this, watching your child get frustrated and feeling like you cannot give them what they need.

Luna in the wagon, wanting to get out and walk

I remember thinking, why is there nothing that lets toddlers practice walking safely when you are out? I looked for it in stores and online. I could not believe it did not exist yet.

This is when I had the idea to force a bumper bar onto the back of the stroller as a test. The bumper bar was made for the front, not the back, and it didn't quite fit. But I made it work. I was delighted when Luna naturally walked to the bar behind the stroller and began walking and pushing the stroller with me. She loved it immediately!

The real test was when I took Luna to the Farmer's Market so she can walk with me in a public space. This was the moment my husband, Rick and I knew we had to build this not just for Luna but for all parents and toddlers. Rick believed in it from the start and kept us moving forward.

Toddle Buddy holds the bar steady on both sides so your toddler can grip naturally and walk at their own pace. It's light, low profile, and easy to carry. You can attach it and detach it in seconds. Ready for any outing.

Watching Luna go from wobbly and frustrated to walking confidently beside me. That shift happened faster than I ever expected. The confidence she built during that period carried into everything else she tried.

She still loves to push the stroller to this day.

WHY TODDLE BUDDY

Everything a toddler needs to take their first steps outside.

Made for the outdoors

Most walking aids are built for living rooms. Toddle Buddy goes wherever your stroller goes. Sidewalks, parks, farmer's markets, anywhere your family explores.

Attaches to your stroller

No new gear or tools required. Toddle Buddy clamps securely to the rear frame of the stroller you already own with fully adjustable arms and joints. Detachable clamps designed to produce an easy experience of removing and re-attaching Toddle Buddy after the first installation.

Steady from the start

Keeps toddlers steady while they find their stride outdoors. Hand bar held steady by both arms attached to two sides of the stroller. Toddlers can now focus on the next step instead of the last wobble when outdoors with their family.
